BIO

Jake Hensberry is a film editor and producer. He joined Roku in
2021 as a Producer/Editor and helped launch "The Maker Channel",
a brand-new streaming channel that made its debut on Roku TV
in Jan 2022. He helped create individual documentary series
centered around some of today's most well-known individuals in
the Maker community.
Prior to Roku, Jake was the Senior Writer, Producer, and Editor at
Nickelodeon and an editor at AMC Networks. At AMC, he worked
on campaigns for Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead.
During his tenure at Nickelodeon, he helped the company grow its
YouTube Channel, double its subscriber base, and earn a Webby
Award nomination.
Jake has had the honor of working with incredible filmmakers like
Oliver Stone, Gary Hustwitt, Pen Densham, and Neil Jordan.
Jake is a graduate of Emerson College, where hr majored in Film
Production. He currently lives in Maplewood, NJ with his family.
When he's not busy making shows, you can find him playing regional
tennis in the USTA, swimming with his son, and taking photographs
with an old-fashioned film camera.
His approach to the creative process is driven by a desire to
collaborate with talented people and elevate each other's
strengths to create impactful films.
